( 1 ) About These Terms

These Terms govern your use of AskNova Astrocartography ("AskNova", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website, astrocartography maps, relocation chart tools, saved profiles, saved places, AI reports, follow-up chat, subscriptions, credit packs, content, and related features (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

( 2 ) What AskNova Is (and Isn't)

AskNova Astrocartography is an astrology platform that provides tools for generating and exploring astrocartography maps, natal chart data, relocation charts, city analysis, saved places, AI-powered reports, and educational content.

The Service is for entertainment, educational, and informational purposes only. Astrological content provided through AskNova does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, immigration, relocation, travel, or any other form of professional advice. Please do not make important life decisions based solely on astrological information. Always consult qualified professionals for serious matters.

We use astronomical calculation methods and ephemeris data to generate chart and map data. That accuracy relates to astronomical positions and calculations. Astrological interpretations, including AI-generated reports, are inherently subjective.

AskNova Astrology and AskNova Astrocartography are related but separate products. They may have separate subscriptions, features, and product terms.

( 3 ) Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian consents to your use.

( 4 ) Your Account

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, please contact us at contact@astrocartography.io.

Without an account, some birth data, chart settings, or map state may be stored locally in your browser. With an account, your saved profiles, saved places, generated reports, and account settings may be stored on our servers so the Service can sync and retrieve them. You can delete saved profiles and saved places where those controls are available, or email us to request account deletion.

( 5 ) Subscriptions, Credits, and Payment

AskNova may offer free features, paid subscription tiers, and report credit packs. Paid subscriptions and credit packs are billed in advance and processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Subscription features, report quotas, follow-up question limits, and credit-pack details are shown on the pricing page or checkout flow and may vary by plan. Report credits and quota limits are usage entitlements, not cash balances, and have no monetary value outside the Service.

You can cancel a subscription through your account or Stripe customer portal where available. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your next billing date.

Refunds are considered case-by-case unless required by law. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. However, where you ask us to begin providing digital content, or to make a report or credit available immediately, you agree that we may start performance straight away, and you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost once that content has been delivered or the credit has been used.

We may change prices, features, or plan structures, but we will provide notice where required before material pricing changes affect existing subscribers. For billing questions, email contact@astrocartography.io.

( 6 ) Acceptable Use

Please use the Service lawfully and respectfully. In particular, do not:

• Attempt to access our systems, servers, or other users' accounts without authorisation.
• Scrape, data mine, reverse engineer, or use automated tools to extract content, reports, chart data, map data, or other materials from the Service.
• Copy, resell, or commercially redistribute our reports, interpretations, designs, educational content, software, or generated outputs without permission.
• Use the Service to generate unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content.
• Interfere with the security, availability, or performance of the Service.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, quotas, rate limits, paywalls, subscription checks, or credit consumption.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for the Service, other users, or our providers.

( 7 ) Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including software, map and chart interfaces, report structures, interpretations, articles, graphics, branding, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to AskNova and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of your birth data and personal information. Any feedback or suggestions you share with us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

( 8 ) AI Reports and Generated Content

AI reports and follow-up responses are generated using chart data, location data, saved profiles, saved places, report context, and your prompts. These are processed with the help of third-party AI model providers to produce the output. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your circumstances.

You are responsible for how you interpret and use AI-generated content. We may refuse, limit, or modify AI features to manage safety, abuse, provider constraints, usage limits, or service quality.

( 9 ) Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every device or browser.

We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or suitability of any astrological interpretations, AI reports, city recommendations, relocation insights, saved-place analysis, or educational content for any particular purpose.

( 10 ) Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, travel costs, relocation costs, business opportunities, or decisions made based on the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

( 11 ) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or elsewhere, this does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under local law.

( 12 ) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice via the Service, by email, or by another appropriate method where required by law. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
